Kappo's adorable shaped cakes  Foam Cat Cafe makes its grand debut

 The popular illustration “Catbug Kappo” last year opened a Japanese-style café called Kappo near Qianmei in Taichung, attracting many fans to make pilgrimages. This year, another hit character “Foam Cat” has also made its home in Taichung, with the official opening of “Foam Cat Café” on January 25.

Different from the Japanese vibe of Kappo House, Foam Cat Café adopts a white-based, clean and bright design style, with a total of three floors. The first floor is a coffee bar counter that offers takeout and meals, the second floor features individual table seating, and the third floor has a large communal long-table seating area.

Not only is there a giant Foam Cat door frame at the entrance, but throughout the seating areas, window sills, and doorway, you can see large plush figures of Kappo, Foam Cat, and dogs keeping you company while you dine. The walls are adorned with illustrations of Kappo and friends, and the utensils and decorations are full of Foam Cat’s presence—super cute.
