According to the UK's Daily Mail on December 23, even superheroes need time off to relax. French photographer Benoit Lapray, 33, has unveiled a new series of “Superhero Vacation” photos. He styled models as superheroes such as “Batman,” “Captain America,” “Spider-Man,” and “Superman,” capturing candid moments of them enjoying leisure time across France and in Devon, England.
Lapray spent hours processing each photo. In this image, “Superman” is seen hovering above a lake in the French Alps.
Among all the works, Lapray says his favorite is the Batman photo. He commented, “Batman’s black suit is striking. In the picture, man and nature blend perfectly.”
In this shot, “Spider-Man” sits by the side of a mountain trail, gazing down into the valley.
Lapray captured “The Flash” sprinting across a field.
As the sun nears the horizon, “Captain America” contemplates while looking out over the sea.
“Thor” stands in an ankle-deep stream, seemingly unaware that Lapray is photographing him.
Another superhero stands atop a French mountain peak, also appearing oblivious to being photographed.
“Wonder Woman” sits in the middle of a waterfall.
