At the start of the new year 2015, the good news keeps coming in quick succession. Fenix Outdoor Lighting has reached a cooperation agreement with civilian mountaineer Han Zijun, and will sponsor her upcoming series of climbing expeditions.
As a member of China’s first all-female Everest (South Side) expedition team, Han Zijun will not only participate in the team’s Everest climb this April, but will also complete the Everest–Lhotse traverse. She will also take part in the Tenzing Hillary Everest Marathon – a rare feat among Chinese athletes. This series of challenging climbs has us looking forward to what 2015 has in store.
As China’s first civilian all-female Everest expedition team, the 2015 China Women's Everest (South Side) Expedition Team has garnered widespread attention both domestically and internationally since its formation. Fenix Outdoor Lighting will also provide lighting equipment support for the team’s Everest and Lhotse traverse. In addition, their climbing journey will be filmed as a multi-episode documentary.
