A popular flower-viewing spot in Taichung, the Zhongshe Sightseeing Flower Market is currently in full bloom. Upon entering, you’ll be greeted by vast walls of bougainvillea. The flower gets its name from its resemblance to traditional firecrackers and is also known as flame vine or golden coral.

The bougainvillea flower wall paired with the majestic Huoyan Mountain landscape creates a picturesque scene.
The orange-yellow bougainvillea cascading down the wall blooms so abundantly that thousands of flowers pour down like a golden waterfall. The clusters of blossoms, reminiscent of strings of firecrackers, burst open and resemble a beautiful orange-gold cascade from afar.
