The 11th confirmed case in the country is one of the three Taiwanese businessmen who returned from Wuhan, China on February 3 and were subsequently sent to hospital. The patient is a man in his 50s, currently has no fever, is in stable condition with no pneumonia, and has a mild case without complications. He is currently under observation and treatment in a negative pressure isolation ward. Preliminary tests for the other two cases sent to hospital were negative.
The command center stated that all other passengers on the same flight will undergo comprehensive testing, and strict “one person, one room” isolation and quarantine measures for 14 days will continue. Each person’s temperature will be monitored twice daily. If fever, respiratory symptoms, or physical discomfort are detected, they will be sent to hospital immediately according to regulations.
