Shanghai, March 4, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- After the Spring Festival holiday, professionals have gradually returned to their busy work routines. To meet the growing travel needs of international business travelers, the international edition of Ctrip Business Travel online underwent a major overhaul just before the Spring Festival. The new international edition has completely abandoned the previous English site and rebuilt a multilingual platform, currently supporting three languages: Simplified Chinese, English, and Traditional Chinese. The new international edition fully covers core products such as domestic air tickets, domestic hotels, international air tickets, international hotels, and online management reports. The redesigned interface is clean and vibrant, delivering an even better user experience.

Fang Jiqin, Vice President of Ctrip and CEO of the Business Travel Division, stated that on one hand, an increasing number of foreign enterprises in China value the localization advantages of local TMCs. However, beyond that, compared to international TMCs, what competitive edges do local TMCs have in terms of service and products, and how can they enhance their overall capabilities to win over and serve this segment of clients? This is a pressing question local TMCs must address. On the other hand, as more domestic companies establish overseas operations and expand their global business, how to serve foreign employees effectively will be another major challenge for local TMCs in the future. Therefore, while maintaining their own strengths, local TMCs must align their service and product capabilities with international standards to meet the increasingly diverse travel demands of various enterprises.

The newly launched international edition marks a significant step in Ctrip Business Travel’s internationalization strategy, and more global initiatives from Ctrip Business Travel in 2015 are worth anticipating within the industry.
