Take photos with EXO in Taiwan！ Four major hotspots promote Korean tourism across Taiwan

To allow people across Taiwan to experience the charm of “201∞ Infinite Korea,” the Taipei branch of the Korea Tourism Organization has launched an integrated online and offline advertising campaign, rotating through four major high-speed rail stations (Taichung Station, Hsinchu Station, Taoyuan Station, Tainan Station) to set up charging and rest stations. Each station runs for six weeks, creating a roving unmanned Korean tourism information center across Taiwan to promote the allure of Korea at the local level.

In addition to providing a space for travelers to rest and charge their phones, the exhibition area also allows visitors to browse Korean travel-related e-books using the electronic devices provided, accessing useful travel information. Another highlight within the exhibition area is the chance to create a unique Korean travel photo. By combining last year’s popular Korea Tourism Organization LINE sticker characters “Handsome Oppa and Pretty Onee,” visitors can use the photo booth in the exhibition area to turn themselves into either a handsome oppa or a pretty onee, select their favorite Korean scenes, follow just a few simple steps, wait for the photo to be synthesized, and then directly save their own super cute Korea-travel photo to their phone via QR code, email it to themselves or friends and family, or even print it on the spot. The recently concluded roving unmanned Korean tourism information center at Taichung High-Speed Rail Station has now moved to Taoyuan Station, where it will remain until September 29.

After appointing the K-pop idol group EXO as honorary promotional ambassadors for Korean tourism, the Korea Tourism Organization produced advertisements centered around six themes: “Historical Tradition,” “Daily Life of Koreans,” “Adventure,” “Trends,” “Healing,” and “Hallyu.” Leveraging these EXO-themed ad concepts, the organization created special photo frames, which are being showcased along with the high-speed rail roving unmanned Korean tourism information centers at Taoyuan Station (from now until September 29) and Tainan Station (from October 1 to November 14), allowing fans of EXO to take photos with them at these two locations. Taipei-based fans can also visit the Korea Tourism Organization Taipei Branch Korea Plaza (4th floor, same building as Eslite Dunhua) to take photos and print their pictures.

In addition to the activities at the high-speed rail stations, until November 15, you can also participate in the online event via your mobile phone. Not only can you take photos with EXO, but if you share your unique photo on your own FACEBOOK page through the event website, you may also win a round-trip ticket on Asiana Airlines from Taipei to Seoul.
