Taste cuisines from 29 countries — Hsinchu Cultural Festival features over 38 booths

Every year, the Hsinchu Life Festival hosts two major events — “International Day” and “Slow Walk Along the Moat” — attracting many people to enjoy the festivities and explore the market. This year’s “International Day” will premiere on September 1 and 2 at Guanxin Park, gathering expatriates from 29 countries residing in Taiwan. With over 38 booths actively participating, the event will showcase traditional performances, authentic local cuisines, handicrafts, creative dishes, and other specialty goods.

Hsinchu Life Festival’s “International Day” kicks off at Guanxin Park from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, featuring an international cultural market with participants from countries including India, Nepal, Mexico, Russia, Colombia, the United States, Gambia, Venezuela, Greece, Turkey, Thailand, Canada, Hong Kong, France, New Zealand, Slovakia, Australia, France, Honduras, Brazil, Vietnam, South Africa, El Salvador, Japan, Malaysia, Spain, and the United Kingdom.

The international performing arts program invites dance troupes and bands from countries such as the United States, Brazil, India, Kiribati, Russia, Mexico, and Italy to present traditional dances and musical performances. Through enjoying the shows, experiencing art, and tasting food, visitors can get to know cultures from around the world.
