Play Mode One: Outdoor Water Park Returns on May 28 with Cool Thrills, Both Land and Water Rides Fully Open
According to General Manager Zhuang, on May 28, Tianjin Happy Valley’s outdoor water park “Soaring Caribbean” will open. With this, the park’s land and water rides will be largely fully operational, complementing each other to offer visitors a seamless one-ticket experience across both the land and water parks. For guests, this marks the best time of year to visit. Soaring Caribbean is an outdoor water-themed area that showcases the tropical beach vibe of the Caribbean — a paradise that sparks the imagination. Its natural beauty and cultural charm are irresistible, making this fairytale-like, mysterious sanctuary truly captivating. With sunshine, giant waves, sandy beaches, and bikini-clad beauties, the tropical flair of the Caribbean coast brings passion and romance to Tianjin, a northern city.
As temperatures rise and visitors’ enthusiasm grows, starting from May 28, Tianjin Happy Valley will launch its Wonderful Night Session (6:00 PM – 10:00 PM). By then, most of the park’s indoor and outdoor rides will be open. Whether you’re visiting with family, as a group of students, or with colleagues and friends, there’s fun for everyone at Happy Valley. There are rides for family enjoyment, such as the Happy Tea Cups and Coconut Tree Climbing; and there are also thrilling speed rides like Angry Birds, fjord Flying Dragon, Happy Big Horn, and Crazy Twister, among others — both land and water attractions that deliver unforgettable bursts of adrenaline.
Play Mode Two: A Myriad of Colorful Events, Fun Around the Clock
Following hip-hop rap and pole dancing competitions, Tianjin Happy Valley continues to ignite joy with endless excitement. On May 23, 24, 30, and 31, the park presents specially prepared live interactive events featuring Western movies, offering visitors a brand-new, high-end visual cosplay performance of animated films. Iconic characters from Western movies — such as Iron Man, Captain America, and Black Widow — alongside cosplays from anime and films like League of Legends and Sword and Fairy, will interact with visitors up close, perform live shows, and parade through the park, delivering an extraordinary cosplay experience.
General Manager Zhuang revealed that from June 20 to August 23, Tianjin Happy Valley’s annual land and water carnival kicks off a new journey of joy. In response to visitor demand, this year’s carnival introduces international circus performances, bikini beauty variety shows, international EDM festivals, tent camping, beer festivals, and more — all alongside the park’s 50+ land and water rides. This carnival is sure to rock the entire summer.
Play Mode Three: “Jin”-credible Performances, Nonstop Highlights
During peak travel season, Tianjin Happy Valley offers up to 90 performances during busy times, creating a true feast of the arts. Large-scale live-action film shows like “Heroes of Tianjin” and multimedia stage productions like “Tian Show” blend the essence of local Tianjin culture and have been warmly welcomed by visitors, becoming creative cultural landmarks of the city. In late June, “Tian Show” will be revamped and upgraded to “Jin Show,” highlighting the best of Tianjin culture and delivering an unparalleled audiovisual experience. Add to that the “Happy Grand Parade” and a 5D cinema featuring Oscar-winning classic animations — the array of exciting performances is simply overwhelming.
