In addition to the 3-meter-tall Bear Bravo pilot, the float also showcases classic Taipei landmarks representing the city’s identity, such as Taipei 101, Beimen, Maokong Gondola, and Beitou Hot Springs, offering a deep dive into the urban vibe.
This year, Taipei City’s National Day float made its appearance right after the team of Taiwanese heroes from the Asian Games. With Bear Bravo leading the way, classic cityscapes, and dynamic street dance performances embodying Taipei’s youthful energy, the parade will kick off in front of the Taipei City Hall. After the procession at the front of the government building, the float will continue along Zhonghua Road, Hengyang Road, and Guanqian Road, starting from the intersection of Aiguo West Road and Chongqing South Road.

After the parade, the Bear Bravo pilot float will join 23 other uniquely themed floats from around Taiwan for display at the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall. The “10X10: The Taipei You’ve Never Seen Before” event will run for five consecutive days from October 10 to October 14.
The “10X10: The Taipei You’ve Never Seen Before” National Day float carnival features colorful floats, fun treasure hunts, and a super-cute temporary Bear Bravo post office. In addition, there will be special themed zones for “10X10: The Taipei You’ve Never Seen Before” and Bear Bravo, as well as cultural and creative markets and food trucks. During the day, enjoy the beautiful float displays, and at night, admire the illuminated designs on the floats.

The “10X10: The Taipei You’ve Never Seen Before” National Day float carnival will run for five days, allowing the public to get up close and personal with a variety of uniquely themed floats. From 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM on October 10, and from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM daily from October 11 to 14, the event offers food, fun, a special treasure hunt, and Bear Bravo giveaways.

In addition to the float exhibitions and treasure hunts, the stage will feature a variety of street performers and performance groups each day, showcasing Taipei’s unique performing arts talent through diverse acts. The five-day performance themes are Celebration Day, Bear Bravo Day, Prosperity Day, Joyful Day, and Novelty Day.
