As Christmas approaches, the streets are beginning to exude a strong festive vibe. This year, Nanfang Shopping Center in Tainan has adopted the concept of a Gemlight Village, adorning the roadside trees along the corridor on China East Road with an abundance of festive lights and constructing a 12-meter-tall Gemlight Christmas Tree of Light, forming the Nanfang Shopping Center – “Light Village No. 366,” which is incredibly romantic.

The Gemlight Tree of Light originated on a cold winter night when hundreds of glowing gems were discovered in the square. A Christmas elf picked them up and stacked them into a 12-meter-tall Tree of Light. It is said that if you pass by here with someone you love and are bathed in the glow of the gems, your wishes will magically come true.

At “Light Village No. 366,” Nanfang Shopping Center has specially created Taiwan’s only “Gemlight Tree of Light,” hoping that all who visit can carry home their Christmas dreams and feel the dazzling, touching romance and light of happiness in the winter season.

The 12-meter-tall Gemlight Christmas Tree of Light features a spectacular laser light show from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM daily, allowing everyone to gaze upward at the romance of countless starry lights.

During holidays, there’s also a dreamy snowfall event that brings a strong winter atmosphere, attracting many visitors to take photos and making it the latest hot spot for photos.
