With the arrival of spring, cherry blossoms are blooming everywhere, forming breathtaking pink seas of flowers. Along the Kanggao Keng Stream in Xizhi District, the pink blooms of Taiwan mountain cherries create an even more enchanting spring atmosphere, nothing short of a dream.

Cherry blossoms blooming along the riverbanks are incredibly dreamy.
Around 200 cherry trees are planted on both sides of Kanggao Keng Stream, and this year’s bloom is better than ever. Strolling under the cherry trees on both banks, you can not only enjoy the vibrant, colorful pink spring blossoms but also feel the clear waters and rich ecology of the stream.
Walking under the cherry trees is even more delightful.
Besides visiting during the day to admire the blossoms, you can also stop by the nearby Fuxing Temple to pray. At night, the “Streamside Night Cherry Blossoms” light up, and the mountain cherry trees by the river take on a different kind of charm under the illumination — spherical lights are spread across the streambed and slopes, creating a fairytale-like, magical ambiance. Don’t miss it.

To visit Kanggao Keng Stream for cherry blossom viewing, you can take the train to Xike Station via Taiwan Railways and walk about 500 meters to reach the site — it’s very convenient.
