Navigate the maze & chase planes – an ultra-popular IG check-in spot

Another ultra-popular check-in spot has arrived – the Flower Expo Park’s Xinsheng Park has created a maze garden that’s a hit on Instagram. Not only does it feature quite the European-style scenery, but you can also watch planes fly overhead up close.

Here, you can experience the thrill and immediacy of a plane passing right over your head during landing, clearly hearing the rumbling roar of the engines. Getting up close and personal with the aircraft makes for an exciting experience. For a unique outing during the Spring Festival, visiting Xinsheng Park to navigate the maze, chase planes, and have a picnic is a fantastic choice.

Xinsheng Park is adjacent to Taipei Songshan Airport, making it Taiwan’s most popular spot for watching planes land. The deafening roar of the engines and the overwhelming presence of the massive aircraft create a few brief seconds where the airborne giants roar overhead, allowing you to clearly feel your heart pounding.

Watching planes take off and land is very appealing to both adults and children alike – it's thrilling and leaves a deep impression. Come here around 3 PM every day, when a plane takes off or lands approximately every 10 to 15 minutes. The high frequency of flights is incredibly exhilarating.

Xinsheng Park has many spots perfect for photos, check-ins, and relaxing picnics. There’s also the free-entry Taipei Botanical Collection Garden where you can admire not only planes but also beautiful flowers and landscapes – guaranteed to keep your camera busy.
