Located in the middle reaches of Annongxi Stream in Sanyi Township, on the right bank near Tianxin Bridge, 200 bald cypress trees were planted during the early restoration of Annongxi. They have now grown into a lush forest. In celebration of the Lunar New Year, the Annongxi Bald Cypress Secret Area in Sanyi Township, Yilan County, was illuminated on January 21.

The lighting display at the Annongxi Bald Cypress Secret Area in Sanyi Township, Yilan County, is on every evening from 6 PM until midnight, continuing all the way until the Lantern Festival.

In addition to nighttime lighting and sound installations, the Annongxi Bald Cypress Secret Area has also introduced a water dance show. The entire area features 200 lights with scheduled color changes, allowing visitors during the holiday season to enjoy the romantic and picturesque riverside scenery.

Besides the bald cypress trees, other well-known attractions along Annongxi include the riverside landscape, the flood diversion weir, Changpi Lake Scenic Area, Tiansongpi Railway Station, and Qingshui Geothermal Area.
