The experiential entertainment complex “Le Shang Space Asobuild” officially opened on March 15, with three major highlights attracting the most attention and anticipation: the limited-time-only “Poop Museum YOKOHAMA,” which created a craze in Japan; authentic New York-style doughnuts “DUMBO”; and Yokohama’s top-three gourmet item, “Saikyoken Shumai.” It’s just a two-minute walk from the Minami Exit of Yokohama Station.

On the second floor of Le Shang Space, which opened on March 15, is the limited-time-only “Poop Museum YOKOHAMA” that caused a stir in Japan.

Le Shang Space Asobuild, developed by Akatsuki Live Entertainment Inc. (ALE), a subsidiary of Japan’s Akatsuki Inc. (Akatsuki), centers around diverse, experiential entertainment. Spanning five floors, it includes a leisure lounge bar “PITCH CLUB,” a food and music street “Post Street” offering Yokohama cuisine, a permanent exhibition hall “ALE-BOX” with curated entertainment experiences, Japan’s largest DIY workshop “MONOTORY,” a parent-child play space “PuChu!” and a multi-purpose sports court with baseball classes.

Le Shang Space is built around the core concept of diverse, experiential entertainment and has five floors.

The ALE-BOX limited-time “Poop Museum YOKOHAMA,” which had been widely talked about before the opening of Le Shang Space, lets visitors see, touch, hear, and play with poop. It is divided into four zones: the “Poop Plaza,” where giant models shoot out poop; the “Poop Photo Zone,” featuring many shiny, cute piles of poop; the “Poop Knowledge Zone,” which introduces the history of poop; and the “Poop Interaction Zone,” where guests can enjoy poop-related games.

In addition to the limited-time Poop Museum, ALE-BOX also offers an escape room game co-developed with SCRAP, called “Escape from The NINE ROOMS.” This features nine consecutive rooms infused with digital elements, requiring players to use all five senses to escape. The popular 2013 limited-time escape game “Escape from the Queen of Hearts” (ハートの女王からの脱出) will also be returning in an upgraded version at ALE-BOX.

Located on the first floor of Le Shang Space Asobuild, “Post Street” features a food court and performance stage, allowing guests to enjoy music while dining. The food court has 18 shops, including IG-famous New York-style doughnuts “DUMBO Doughnuts and Coffee,” Yokohama’s top-three delicacy “Saikyoken Shumai,” the beef tataki sushi-focused “Nikuzen no Gyūemon,” Yokohama-style ramen “Rokuya,” and “Nibukiri Soba,” opened by the owner of Yokohama’s popular ramen shop “Nibugan.”

The East Exit Post Street of Yokohama Station is a food court where you can enjoy Yokohama cuisine and live music.
