The hollyhock flower fields are a key highlight for flower enthusiasts from March to April each year. In addition to Xuejia in Tainan, which is famous for its hollyhock blooms, both Taichung and Hualien also have hollyhock fields. Changhua’s Yuanlin City is also home to a hollyhock field where over 20,000 hollyhock plants enter their blooming period in late March, attracting many visitors.

These hollyhock fields were planted by the Yuanlin City Government. The vast flower sea features a variety of colors including white, yellow, pink, red, purple, and peach, making it truly eye-catching!

From April 8 to 22, the fields enter a farmland maintenance period. Surrounding local vendors offer meals, games, and other entertainment, creating a typical small Taiwanese rural market. Aside from admiring the flower fields, visitors can also enjoy food and drinks while strolling through the fields at a leisurely pace.

Open for free viewing at the end of March, the blooming period lasts about a month. Those wishing to see the hollyhocks should plan their visit during this time!
