Shrine of Niaoyeh

The Shrine of Niaoyeh is a non-ranked shrine originally built in Longtian Village. It enshrines the Three Gods of Pioneering (Ōkuninushi-no-Mikoto, Sukunabikona-no-Kami, and Ōnamuchi-no-Kami) as well as Prince Kitashirakawa no Miya Nariakira. Constructed in 1923 during the Japanese colonial period, it was jointly built by the Japanese immigrants of Niaoyeh Village through voluntary labor. It is the first shrine in Taiwan built through a collaboration between Taiwanese and Japanese craftsmen. The architecture is simple, consisting mainly of the main hall, torii gate, and temizuya (hand-washing pavilion).

Guanshan
Guanshan in Taitung is a hidden gem among rice fields. Along Provincial Highway 9, you can discover vast expanses of picturesque farmland. During fallow seasons, you may also spot vibrant fields of cosmos, rapeseed flowers, and sunflowers. Located just 6 km from downtown Taitung and north of Fugang Fishing Port, Little Yehliu features spectacular rock formations that rival those of northern Yehliu. Unique geological features such as single-slope ridges, honeycomb rocks, turtle formation rocks, tofu rocks, and mushroom rocks make it ideal for a half-day coastal trip. On clear days, you can even see Green Island, located 32 km away.

Duli Beach
Duli, which means “to tie or weave something securely” in the Amis language, is a traditional coastal area recently discovered by netizens as a hidden beach paradise. Once a secluded, beautiful shoreline, it has attracted more visitors thanks to online attention.
