Originating from Gunma Prefecture, Japan, Ootoro Milk is known for its milk soft serve infused with natural collagen. In 2018, Ootoro Milk set up its first store in Taiwan in Kaohsiung, quickly becoming a popular IG hotspot dessert. A year later, Ootoro Milk finally expanded northward to open its second store in Taiwan, attracting crowds eager to taste it. Let’s take a look at where the second Ootoro Milk store is located!

Snow-white, rich milk soft serve is served in a square transparent container, with a layer of sauce at the bottom and an overflowing mountain of toppings on top—the overall visual design of the dessert looks super stylish!

Aside from the original flavor, Ootoro Milk also offers green tea red bean, chocolate, and various seasonal fruit flavors. The shop also provides sesame powder, rose sea salt, cocoa powder, and soybean powder to enhance the taste of the original milk soft serve.

Normally, people eat ice cream with a spoon, but Ootoro Milk inserts a thick straw into the ice cream, encouraging customers to sip this collagen-rich milk soft serve. The creamy, smooth milk soft serve has a slight slushy texture that’s surprisingly not cloying.

After launching in Taiwan, Ootoro Milk chose the more laid-back pace of Gushan in Kaohsiung for its first store. Its second store has now moved to Taipei’s East District, drawing large crowds since opening. Sweet treat lovers who haven’t tried this IG-famous dessert yet—hurry on over!
