Taiwan is surrounded by sea on all sides, and its climate is greatly influenced by the ocean, resulting in distinct seasons that also nurture a diverse array of beautiful flowers. The following are five of Taiwan’s most breathtaking flower sea farms, where different gorgeous blooms take center stage in each season—travelers can enjoy the floral splendor anytime and take stunning photos.

1.Taoyuan – Daxi Flower Sea Farm


Daxi Flower Sea Farm is the largest floral farm in northern Taiwan, spanning 17 hectares and cultivating over 4 million flowers.

The farm combines vast scenic flower fields, European-style restaurants, floral gardens, herb gardens, and an ecological pasture, filling the space with a romantic atmosphere. It has also been a filming location for many idol dramas and variety shows.

2.Taoyuan – Xiangyang Farm

In addition to vast sunflower fields, Xiangyang Farm also features colorful snapdragons and purple lavender that bloom passionately from January to April each year. Together with the freshly blooming sunflowers, they create a vibrant and colorful flower field spectacle. Visitors are encouraged to come and admire the flowers on weekends.

Covering an area of 18,000 pyeong, Xiangyang Farm is the largest sunflower-themed farm in northern Taiwan. The sunflower blooming season runs from May to October, and the park offers free admission. In addition to its expansive seasonal flower fields, the farm also features a brick oven baking area, outdoor educational activities, DIY experiences, souvenirs, and a themed restaurant.
