Hitachi Seaside Park in Ibaraki Prefecture is a renowned flower-viewing destination, boasting a rich variety of blooms and breathtakingly expansive views.

From April to May each year, up to 4.5 million nemophila flowers (also known as nemophila menziesii or baby-blue-eyes) burst into bloom, forming a sweeping blue-purple floral carpet that evokes a fairytale-like, romantic ambiance.

April is also tulip season.
In April, in addition to the nemophila-covered hillsides, visitors can also enjoy golden rapeseed flowers and vibrant, colorful tulips. Travelers visiting during this time can take in three stunning flower seas in one trip.
