Tainan’s super-popular ice cream shop, Jian Wei Jia, after launching the wildly popular “Chinese Ice King Egg Roll Ice” at 7-ELEVEN last year which caused a buying frenzy, has this year teamed up with classic ice cream brand President to release ice cream cones “Rose Raw Oolong Tea” and “Peanut Milk,” both rich in Taiwanese flavors, hitting 7-11 shelves in April and May respectively.

The “Rose Raw Oolong Tea” cone went on sale on April 22, blending raw oolong tea into both the ice cream and the crispy cone, offering a refreshing, not overly sweet taste with a long-lasting floral aroma, further enhanced by a touch of rose sauce for an elegant, adult-oriented flavor profile.

The “Peanut Milk” cone will be released on May 20, bringing back childhood memories with its nostalgic peanut milk flavor, combining soft peanut bits with creamy milk ice cream and smooth, rich peanut sauce — a taste loved across all age groups and highly popular.

The cone packaging uses color schemes representing each ice cream flavor and features the playful image of Jian Wei Jia’s founder, Li Yu, along with the brand’s original mission: “to create an ice cream that truly belongs to the Chinese people.” He has developed various uniquely Chinese-flavored ice treats such as soy milk with fried dough sticks, old-fashioned flour tea, and Taichung sun cakes, allowing every ice cream lover to taste the spirit of local culture and flash a genuine smile.
