Romantic Afternoon Tea Pop-Up: Wedgwood’s First Urban Tea House Garden Comes to Taiwan

The luxury British home lifestyle brand Wedgwood, celebrating its 260th anniversary, is launching the world’s first urban tea house garden to help more consumers get to know the brand and experience authentic English afternoon tea. The tea house has grandly opened at the Central Entrance Plaza of Taipei’s Zhongxiao SOGO and will run as a pop-up for eight days from Monday, April 22 to Tuesday, April 30.

The design of Wedgwood’s urban tea house garden draws inspiration from the UK’s most prestigious RHS Chelsea Flower Show. Hosted annually by the Royal Horticultural Society in late May, the RHS Chelsea Flower Show is attended by the British royal family, including the Queen, as well as celebrities from various fields, earning it the reputation of the “Oscars of the floral world.”

The RHS Chelsea Flower Show was founded over 200 years ago by Wedgwood’s eldest son, John Wedgwood, with the hope of allowing people across Britain to experience the vitality and sustainable beauty of flowers at the event.
