Free admission to the Vanilla Garden！ A romantic fragrance mini-trip that's full of charm

As Lixia approaches after Guyu, plants enter a vigorous growth phase. The Neishuangxi Nature Center opens for visits every weekend in May. This May, during the start of summer, why not embark on a fragrant mini-journey to feel the abundant vitality of plants！

Stepping into the big tree grass garden of Neishuangxi, clusters of blue-purple flowers sway gracefully in the wind, particularly catching everyone’s eye — they are Agapanthus. The genus name of AgapanthusAgapanthusis derived from the Greek words "agapa" (love) and "anthos" (flower), which literally translates to "love flower."

The stems of love flowers can grow straight up to 1 meter tall, with dozens of small flowers breaking free from the green buds at the top, eventually bursting forth like purple fireworks, embellishing the lush green grass with dazzling brilliance, steeped in love.

In addition to the mysterious and romantic love flowers, the Neishuangxi Nature Center is filled with plant fragrances！ Upon reaching the entrance of the medicinal herb garden, the purple petals of Spanish lavender bounce into view like bunny ears, with the entire plant exuding a delicate fragrance. The extracted essential oil can also be used to make various aromatic products.

On the right side of the entrance, there is a whole row of Mentha spicata, also known as "left-hand scent" (or "right-hand scent" — either way, it smells wonderful when touched). The big tree grass garden’s floral landscape is covered with fragrant marigolds sporting tiny yellow flowers — no need to rub the leaves, even brushing past releases a burst of fragrance, as if hundreds of sachets were adorning the space, intoxicating all who pass.
