Widely known landmarks like Fort San Domingo, the Cheng Family Ancestral House (the only surviving farmhouse in Tamsui), and the local temple Kuei Shing Palace all bear witness to Tamsui’s long history. From the Customs Wharf, you can also gaze at Guanyin Mountain, with the shimmering Tamsui River reflecting alongside, creating a stunning scenic view.
