Hong Kong and Macau Offer Travel Fair Discounts: 3-Day, 2-Night Free & Easy Trips from Just NT$3,899

The 2019 Taipei International Tourism Expo (TTE) was grandly held from May 17 to May 20 at Taipei World Trade Center Hall 1, where both the Hong Kong Pavilion and Macau Pavilion introduced a variety of promotional package tours.

Hong Kong Pavilion

The Hong Kong Pavilion at Booth D201 collaborated with multiple travel agencies, including Yingjia, Lion, Wufu, Xin’an, Tianqing, Jidi, and Klook, to offer exclusive travel fair discounts. Featured deals include a 3-day Hong Kong Disneyland tour starting at NT$6,888 (Wufu), with a second person discount of NT$2,000 during the travel fair. The Hong Kong–Guangzhou Gourmet 5-Day Tour via the Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macau Bridge (Yingjia) offers a NT$6,000 discount for the second traveler as well.

Yingjia, Lion, and Xin’an jointly launched a group tour titled “Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macau Bridge, Tai O Fishing Village, and Full Banquet at Shangri-La,” promoting the concept of “filial travel.” It allows elders to enjoy themselves thoroughly while the younger generation can relax with ease. When traveling with parents, comfort and convenience are top priorities—flights to Hong Kong take just 80 minutes, avoiding long, tiring journeys, with no language barriers. The package includes all meals, accommodations, no shopping stops, beautiful scenery, and gourmet food. Most importantly, it offers an early experience of the magnificent Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macau Bridge, known as the “world’s longest sea-crossing bridge” and “world’s longest undersea tunnel.”

Other tours include visiting the traditional fishing village of Tai O in Hong Kong and enjoying gourmet meals at Michelin-recommended restaurants in Guangzhou. The tour price per person, including tax, is NT$25,900. As a travel fair limited-time offer, when two people travel together, if the second person is over 65 years old or under 12 years old, they receive an immediate NT$6,000 discount.

If you want to travel with three generations together, Tianqing Travel’s 4-day group tour covering Hong Kong, Zhuhai, and Macau includes one night in each location. The itinerary features strolling through the old Central district of Hong Kong, crossing the Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macau Bridge into Zhuhai to visit Chimelong Ocean Kingdom, and then flying directly back to Taiwan from Macau. The tour price per person, including tax, is NT$22,500. As a special travel fair offer, the second person (65 years or older) receives a NT$6,000 discount.

For summer family travel, Wufu is offering a limited-time, quantity-restricted promotion for a 3-day Hong Kong Disneyland trip. Originally priced at NT$10,888, the travel fair price is only NT$6,888. At the travel fair, there’s an additional NT$2,000 discount for the second traveler (children under 12 years old get an extra NT$400 off each), saving families of four a total of NT$20,000. The package includes round-trip airfare between Taiwan and Hong Kong, a stay at Disney Hollywood Hotel (quad room), and two-day Hong Kong Disneyland tickets per person, plus one movie voucher per person for the summer hit film “Toy Story 4.”

Additionally, Lion is offering a “Summer Hong Kong Classic Double Park 3-Day Tour,” featuring visits to both Hong Kong Disneyland and Ocean Park. They also exclusively arrange a “Behind-the-Scenes Tour” experience at Madame Tussauds (approximate retail value NT$850), plus one breakfast at the Dragon Court Restaurant in Hong Kong Disneyland Explorer Hotel (approximate retail value NT$1,350). The package includes a two-night stay at the urban Hong Kong Harbor Grand Kowloon Hotel, quad room, starting at NT$19,988 per person, including tax, with no summer price increase.
