Kyoto-inspired design event comes to three cities in Taiwan for the first time overseas by Japanese brand SOU·SOU

The brand “SOU·SOU,” which revitalizes the beauty of Kyoto through fashion design and captures the hearts of young people, has also given new life to traditional Japanese crafts. This adorable and fashionable trend arrives in Taiwan on May 22nd.

Taiwan’s longest book street, “Eslite R79,” will hold the overseas debut exhibition “SOU·SOU in Taiwan” from May 22 to June 10, recreating the look of the SOU·SOU flagship store in Kyoto. The large light wall and display windows of the book street also showcase the design aesthetics of Kyoto’s Kamo River and the four seasons. Nearly 500 types of SOU·SOU-designed goods can be purchased without flying to Japan.

It also collaborates with Eslite Bookstore for the first time to launch multiple Taiwan-exclusive products, including the first-ever Taiwan-limited motorcycle helmet, as well as an exclusive and limited-edition “smiling” pattern Tatung rice cooker, a household essential in Taiwan.
