In this world we live in, there is a group of children who possess a certain blue quality: cold, pure, melancholic, lonely, and beautiful.

They have eyes as clear as starlight, yet they never describe to their mothers all that they see; they wear smiles as sweet as angels, yet seldom share with their fathers any joy or sorrow. They are not deaf, yet they hear nothing; they are not blind, yet they see nothing. More often than not, they sit alone in a corner, not speaking a word all day. They may be considered intellectually disabled, yet they often exhibit extraordinary abilities in certain areas. They also tend to possess talents beyond the ordinary, such as in painting, music, memory, and more.

They are the children with autism, whom we call: "Children of the Stars."

At the end of 2015, Birdseye (Fengniao) Network joined hands with "Star Kids Food Tour." Over the course of a year, professional photographers and teams were dispatched to document the lives and conditions of families with autistic children.

In October 2016, Birdseye Network presented the online event “‘Please Give a Smile to Crying’ — A Themed Photo Exhibition Calling for Works to Care for Children with Autism.” In addition to inviting professional photographers, we will also recruit photography works related to the theme from the public.
