The wildly popular illustrated cat-bug Kapo’s Japanese-style café is super healing

Taiwan’s super-popular illustrated cat-bug Kapo isn’t just frequently topping sticker charts—it has also launched serialized comics, picture books, and merchandise. And now, there's even a physical store near Qianmei Eslite in Taichung. Since opening earlier this year, it has attracted fans on a pilgrimage.

This Kapo House was renovated from an old house in an alleyway, creating a café with an old-Japan vibe. There’s even a bus stop sign for the Kapo House featuring Kapo and friends, which is super cute.

The inside of the shop is also fully Japanese-style, with wooden furnishings, tatami mat rooms, and cat-bug Kapo characters everywhere. As soon as you walk in, you’ll see a money-bringing Kapo—so adorable that you’ll instantly fall into the world of Kapo.

The store also offers a wide variety of merchandise, including plush toys in various sizes, Kapo figurines, gashapon capsules, assorted cups, eco-friendly cup sleeves, stationery, and even a Kapo family crest stamp that tests fans’ wallet strength.
