Due to the approaching cold front on Monday, May 27, localized brief showers occurred across Taiwan. In the afternoon, thermal effects led to short but intense downpours, with significant rainfall accumulation in the Greater Taipei area and mountainous regions north of central Taiwan. Daytime highs across Taiwan reached 30 to 32 degrees Celsius.

On Tuesday, May 28, the cold front will move from north to south, making the weather quite unstable across Taiwan with a high probability of rain and localized heavy rain or thunderstorms. Brief showers and thunderstorms occurred in the western half of the island in the early morning. It is advised to carry rain gear when going out and to drive safely.

As the cold front passes and the northeastern monsoon strengthens, the weather in northern and northeastern Taiwan will turn cooler. On May 28, the western half of Taiwan, northeastern Taiwan, eastern Taiwan, as well as Kinmen and Matsu, will experience brief showers or thunderstorms, while other areas may also have localized brief showers or thunderstorms.

Wednesday, May 29The cold front moves southward to the Bashi Channel,with localized brief showers or thunderstorms in central and southern Taiwan as well as the eastern half of the island. The northern region and Kinmen may also see localized brief showers, while other areas will have mostly cloudy weather. There is a chance of localized heavy rain during the cold front's influence, but the Central Weather Bureau has lifted the heavy rain alert by the evening.
On May 30, localized brief showers are expected in southern Taiwan and the eastern half of the island, with a chance of heavier rainfall in some areas. Other regions will be mostly cloudy to sunny, with localized brief thunderstorms in the afternoon.
Temperatures will generally remain around 25–30 degrees Celsius. Be mindful of cooler mornings and temperature differences when entering or exiting air-conditioned spaces.
From June 1 to 3 (Saturday to Monday), another cold front will be located over the northern sea area of Taiwan. Northern and northeastern Taiwan will have brief showers or thunderstorms, while other areas may also experience localized brief showers or thunderstorms. There is a chance of localized heavy rain in areas north of central Taiwan, northeastern Taiwan, and mountainous regions in the south, especially with a risk of localized torrential rain in mountainous areas in the afternoon.
From June 4 to 6, under the influence of the southwestern monsoon,southern Taiwan will have localized brief showers, while otherareas will be mostly cloudy to sunny, with localized brief thunderstorms in the afternoon.
