Mini Happy Painted Plane Takes to the Skies – Super Cute Boarding Pass Fans Hurry to Book

Japan Airlines has launched the second adorable edition of the Minion-painted plane, the “JAL Minion Jet 2,” to celebrate the third anniversary of the “Despicable Me Minion Mayhem” ride at Universal Studios Japan in Osaka.

The Minion-painted plane introduced by Japan Airlines this time is operated using the E190 model. From the exterior to the interior facilities, the aircraft is covered with Minion imagery, and it also features a wide range of Minion merchandise onboard that has fans going wild.

Back in 2017, Japan Airlines collaborated with the Minions on a painted plane that sparked much discussion. Now, they have teamed up again for the second edition. The inaugural flight took off from Osaka’s Itami Airport to Niigata on May 31 and will continue flying until June 2020.

Not only does the painted plane feature adorable Minion illustrations on the exterior, but the boarding pass exclusive to this aircraft has also been specially designed with a cute pilot Minion, making it highly collectible.

Additionally, the aircraft provides six differently designed cute Minion water cups for passengers to use when enjoying coffee or tea. Upon boarding, Japan Airlines also sends out Minion plush toys to welcome passengers.
