75 top steakhouses and burger joints offer all-you-can-eat feast at Las Vegas Food Festival

The gambling capital of Las Vegas attracts travelers from around the world seeking pleasure, so in addition to its famous gaming activities, large hotels, and shopping malls, it also boasts a wide variety of gourmet restaurants. To allow locals to sample the delicacies and fine wines from various restaurants all at once, the "Las Vegas Epicurean Affair" was specially held on the evening of May 21 local time. This year, 75 restaurants set up booths, drawing over 2,000 attendees to indulge in the culinary celebration.

Now in its 6th year, the Las Vegas Epicurean Affair was held this year at The Venetian, attracting 75 of the city’s most iconic restaurants, including TAO, CHINA POBLANO, and Buddy V. Each booth offered their signature dishes or exquisite desserts without restriction to guests, along with unlimited beer, red and white wine, and cocktails.(Excessive drinking is harmful to health)

This large-scale food party, held by the pool at The Venetian, operated on a ticketed entry system. For $105 USD (approximately NT$3,150) per person, attendees could enjoy all the dishes on offer. In addition to seeing everyone with a plate of food in hand, the event also featured performances by EDM DJs, synchronized swimmers, percussionists, and live bands, creating a joyful atmosphere from afternoon through the night.

Whether it was grilled steak with potato salad, cured sausage with caviar, grilled shrimp, or mint sauce wraps, every attendee could choose their favorite dish. Beyond appetizers and main courses, there were also desserts like chocolate mousse and crushed nut ice cream, as well as dozens of red and white wines and cocktails. Though the event was similar in nature to an all-you-can-eat buffet, each dish was a carefully crafted creation from the respective restaurants, with unique cooking techniques and creativity that delighted many attendees.

According to the organizers, the restaurants selected to participate this year are all popular local spots. In addition to traditional American dishes like roast beef, there were also offerings from 15 different countries, including India, Italy, Japan, and China, giving attendees the chance to sample each restaurant’s specialties.

Chef Jose Andres, the chief representative chef for this event and head chef at The Venetian, mentioned that his restaurant offers both Chinese and Spanish dishes and expressed a desire to visit Taiwan to explore new culinary inspirations. Sheena Martin, another participant, noted that this event is a major food festival in Las Vegas and serves as a great opportunity for first-time visitors to sample various restaurants and plan their own Las Vegas food journey.(Excessive drinking is harmful to health)
