Tainan’s Shuangchun Coastal Recreation Area is rich in natural ecology and expansive sea views, and features a “Forest of Forgetfulness” made up of dead trees and mangroves, which is beloved by travelers.

Located between the Bazhang River and the Jishui River, it lies to the north of Tainan’s coastline. The park’s wooden boardwalks are lined with mangrove species such as red mangrove, kandelia, lumnitzera, and acanthus ilicifolius, offering rich natural wetland landscapes and ecology.

One of the most enchanting sights along the route is the Beimen version of the Forest of Forgetfulness, where the interplay of light and shadow from fallen trees and water creates a scene that often attracts couples to take wedding photos and create beautiful, romantic memories.

The park also features an elevated wooden boardwalk and pavilions, allowing visitors to venture deep into the mangrove area and discover the incredibly romantic Forest of Forgetfulness.
