Located next to the branch canal of the Jia-Nan Irrigation System in Xinying District, Tainan City, the “Xinying Art Park” initially launched its art exhibition with the theme “Childhood Rhapsody,” connecting public art and nearby school campuses.

The western section of Xinying Art Park extends from the Cultural Center through Xinying High School and Nanxin Junior High School to Fuxing Road. Utilizing the characteristics of outdoor art—such as building facades, sunlight, wind, and tree shade—it has developed numerous artworks.

The concept behind Xinying Art Park—an open-air art park where the city is the museum—centers around the Xinying Cultural Center as its energy hub. It stretches approximately 2 kilometers east-west along the northern side of the Xinying branch of the Jia-Nan Irrigation System. Through its open park space, it achieves three goals: an interactive public space, everyday art life, and reconnecting the community with the irrigation channel landscape.
