Every summer, coffee enthusiasts eagerly await this major coffee event. The “2019 Starbucks Coffee Journey” special exhibition launched on July 3rd, with this year’s concept being “Espresso Your Style,” starting with Starbucks’ core offering—the Italian espresso.

The “2019 Starbucks Coffee Journey” allows visitors to explore the origins of coffee beans and experience different roast levels, while also introducing a venue-exclusive beverage inspired by drinks from the U.S. Roastery—“Espresso Cloud English IPA.” This lets you feel Starbucks’ dedication to returning to its coffee roots, as well as the brand’s innovative beverage creations starting from coffee. Amidst the captivating aroma of coffee, discover the beauty of various coffee drinks and create your own unique style.

Entering its sixth edition, the “2019 Starbucks Coffee Journey” special exhibition offers a fresh encounter with coffee. At the beginning of the journey, interactive installations guide you through coffee’s path from the first ten feet to the last ten feet. In the specially created coffee corridor, walk through the stories of coffee and experience the art and aesthetics extracted from daily life. With the guidance of on-site Black Apron Coffee Masters, choose coffee beans of varying roast levels and customize your pairings to showcase the soul of Starbucks coffee—the rich and bold Italian espresso—in the most suitable and delightful flavor for you, creating your own signature espresso style.

This special exhibition premieres a new venue-exclusive beverage, “Espresso Cloud English IPA,” inspired by creations from Starbucks partners in the U.S. It’s adapted from a drink available only at U.S. Roasteries and select special store formats. Its top layer features delicate foam that delivers a silky-smooth texture, and the lingering aftertaste is both sweet and intensely aromatic—similar to coffee but even more refreshing.

The “2019 Starbucks Coffee Journey” special exhibition runs from July 3rd to July 28th at Huashan 1914 Creative Park, West Hall 2. Tickets cost NT$280 and include one 2019 Coffee Journey guidebook, one 2019 Coffee Journey commemorative tote bag, one commemorative pencil, and one drink redemption using the card in the guidebook. Most notably, the guidebook allows unlimited entries during the exhibition period.
