Liyu Lake Reservoir, named after Liyu Lake Village in Sanyi Township, is the largest reservoir in Miaoli County. It serves four functions: irrigation, flood control, power generation, and tourism, primarily supplying domestic, agricultural, and industrial water to Taichung City and Miaoli area.

Address: Xihu Village, Sanyi Township, Miaoli County
Transportation: Take National Freeway 1 to the Sanyi Interchange, then follow Provincial Highway 13 south for about 1 km to the Xihu Village bus stop. Continue for another 300 meters and turn left at the fork onto the township road to reach Liyu Lake Reservoir.
