1.Huayuan Bay
 
Located on Provincial Highway 9 in Taimali along the South Link Highway, Huayuan Bay gained fame for the heart and the Chinese characters for “peace” made from driftwood on its beach. The beautiful scenery here has won the hearts of many visitors. Nestled between the Central Mountain Range and the Pacific Ocean, Huayuan Bay is an ideal spot for watching the sunrise, and on clear days, Green Island and Orchid Island can also be spotted.

2.Xiangyang Heritage Wood Workshop
 
Located above Dullang Station, Xiangyang Heritage Wood Workshop is community-based, providing local job opportunities while helping to reunite tribal identity and pass down the rapidly disappearing tribal culture. The area also combines nearby attractions such as Jinguang Hot Springs, Dullang Station, and the Dawushan Ecological Education Center, making it one of the best stops along the South Link Highway.

3.Xinshe Terraced Fields
 
Xinshe Terraced Fields are the largest coastal terraced fields in Taiwan. Normally covered in lush green rice paddies, they transform into vast stretches of light golden rice fields every summer. Along the roadside, you’ll see the seemingly endless beauty of the rice waves near the sea, set against the stunning blue of the Pacific Ocean. The sea-and-sky coastline appears as if covered with a golden blanket, making travelers pause to admire the view.

4.Necklace Coast Studio
 
Also located near Shitousing in Hualien’s Shiti Ping area, there’s a swing known as the most beautiful in Taiwan. Set atop a stretch of emerald-green grass and facing a vast ocean view, its unique crescent shape attracts many visitors for photos. This swing was created by the Necklace Coast Art Studio. The park not only features distinctive architecture and art installations but also offers coffee and light meals, camping accommodations, and eco-guided tours.
