“Take Nine Thousand Kilometers to You” combines a laundromat with a café. Guests can bring in dirty laundry to wash and, while waiting, interact and play up close with the popular sheepdog Golden and raccoon Rocket, all while enjoying coffee. Many visitors come specifically to see the charming raccoon, making the place constantly bustling.

The owner of “Take Nine Thousand Kilometers to You” once traveled to France to study pastry baking. With the goal of letting visitors enjoy exquisite foreign afternoon tea treats without flying abroad, the café offers 4–5 kinds of handmade French pastries every day. The “nine thousand kilometers” symbolizes the distance from France to Taiwan, and the hope is to deliver each cake or tart with care to every fan and customer.

Recently, celebrity Eddie Peng also came here to get up close with the chubby, adorable raccoon, even sharing several cute videos on his Instagram Stories, prompting fans to say they’d love to visit too.
