Beyond night markets, street snacks, and traditional houses, there are plenty of other attractions worth visiting. Spend a weekend with your family in Renhe District — you won’t regret it!

Stepping into the Chi Mei Museum feels like entering a European royal court. It houses the world’s largest collection of violins, and both the museum building and its surrounding European-style landscaping are breathtakingly beautiful.

Also known as Tiger Mountain Forest Trail, the Watermelon Mountain Forest Trail was once the Tiger Mountain Farm belonging to the Taisugar Renhe Sugar Refinery. After the refinery ceased operations, the farm became a woodland area. Its lush greenery offers an urban hidden gem that’s definitely worth a visit for travelers.

Covering nearly 66 hectares, Tainan Metropolitan Park is one of Taiwan’s three major metropolitan parks. It even features a museum inside, making it perfect for picnics, playtime, photography, or simply relaxing during a holiday outing.

Established in 1899, Bao’an Station was originally named Cheluzhuang, after the name of the local old settlement. The station building features a blend of Chinese and Western architectural styles, primarily constructed using cypress wood from Alishan. With its unique style and elegant design, this century-old station has retained much of its original appearance.
