This is the first time the Gudetama Don’t Want to Work Cafe has landed in Hsinchu, setting up a limited-time pop-up shop on the first floor of Hsinchu Taroko? Ya Plaza. It features a completely independent, spacious design, creating a 360-degree island-style cafe where Gudetama’s lazy figure can be spotted everywhere—super cute.

The interior is designed in soft yellow tones with a hipster vibe and an open dining environment. Whether in the sofa area or coffee bar, Gudetama’s presence is everywhere. The cafe also sells plenty of Gudetama merchandise that fans will go crazy for.

The Gudetama Don’t Want to Work Cafe at Hsinchu? Ya location will only be open until September 30. In addition to a wide selection of Gudetama merchandise, there are also many limited-edition sweets and drinks, including the “Did My Salary Come In Yet Rose Milk Foam.” The drink names are perfectly in tune with Gudetama’s sentiments.
