The "Wings of Freedom" in the mobile game "Perfect World M" perfectly encapsulate various interpretations of freedom: reflecting spokesperson A-Mei’s dedication to musical performance, the self-identity of the Luohui Foundation in bravely facing physical differences, and the heritage of tribal culture by the Xiangyang Heritage Wood Workshop. The three-meter-high steel M-shaped wings, materialized by Xiangyang Heritage Wood Workshop chairman Zhuang Wenyi, stand against the backdrop of blue sea and sky, allowing visitors to feel the passion of soaring freely and daring to chase their dreams.

The Wings of Freedom are located at the Xiangyang Heritage Wood Workshop, 200 meters above Taitung’s Doli Station. With its elevated position, it offers a bird’s-eye view of the magnificent seascape. Standing in front of the Wings of Freedom viewing platform, you can take in the full panorama of the Pacific Ocean, rolling mountain ranges, and the scenic railway tracks.

The wings, paired with the red light cast by the rising sun that tints the white clouds, are breathtakingly beautiful.
While enjoying the scenery, don’t forget to take photos with the Wings of Freedom or enjoy tribal specialty cuisine at the nearby seating area. For the most perfect shot of the Wings of Freedom, it’s recommended to visit the viewing platform at dawn to capture the night stars, the stunning sunrise, and the blue sea and sky all in one go.

On the fourth Saturday of each month, Xiangyang Heritage invites bands to perform in front of the Wings of Freedom, combined with a market and hands-on craft experiences, allowing travelers to unwind by the sea breeze amidst the music and scenic beauty of this hidden gem in the South Link.
