This year’s exhibition features not only international brands such as Cannondale, COLNAGO, Compressport, Craft, Gusto, Lapierre, MET, PARLEE, PASSONI, Ridley, Rudy Project, Shimano, Specialized, SRAM, SUGOi, YAKIMA, 3T, but also rapidly rising domestic brands like Fuji-Ta, Jinlun, JAVA, Kelin, Langtu, Mysen, ofo, Qilida, SAVA, Xidesheng, Xiaomi Bikes, and ZGL. Whether it will be a “balanced competition” or a “clear winner” remains a suspenseful question worth anticipating. Beyond the eye-catching displays, another major highlight of the Asia Bicycle Exhibition every year is the ever-evolving series of supporting events with “new and exciting formats”! The 3-day Asia Bicycle Exhibition promises non-stop thrills!

Here, hear—the future of the industry

The 3rd Asia Bicycle Exhibition Industry Summit(Time: September 15, Location: Stage Area 9.3300)

Although the growth of the bicycle industry has slowed over the past year, with the continued rise of the broader sports concept, capital remains relatively highly focused on the sport cycling sector. The 3rd Asia Bicycle Exhibition Industry Summit closely follows industry hot topics, taking a high-level perspective that integrates the concepts of "bicycles" and "big sports." It will not only make the authoritative first release of the "2016 China Sport Cycling Industry Report," but also facilitate industry discussions and sharing around keywords such as “sports towns,” “events and tourism,” “cycling culture,” and “China Triathlon.” The summit will also invite seasoned professionals from both domestic and international backgrounds for dialogue, sparking inspiration through interaction.

Asia Bicycle Exhibition • Bicycle Academy(Time: September 14–15, Location: Hall 9, 9.7310)

"The top bike shop technicians" bring "the latest complete bikes and components" to help you solve "the most practical cycling technical issues" face-to-face — right here at the Asia Bicycle Exhibition • Bicycle Academy. The 2017 Bicycle Academy offers a two-day course, inviting top original equipment manufacturer technicians to share the latest professional techniques to support the healthy growth of bike shops.

Background of the Bicycle Academy: Through conversations with bike shops, we found that both shops and technicians are seeking more and higher-quality opportunities for technical upgrades and industry exchanges. Technicians from component brands not only know the products well but also bring rich experience, often providing more detailed insights and fresh perspectives. Therefore, the Asia Bicycle Exhibition is keen to integrate quality resources from the exhibition to foster the birth of such a premium platform.

Children's Cycling(Time: September 14-16, Location: Hall 8 & Hall 9)

Whether in the fast-moving consumer goods industry or the sports industry, the children’s market has always been a highly watched sector. In recent years, various children’s cycling activities have become increasingly popular in China. As the fitness trend sweeps through the new generation of parents, more and more families are keen to involve their children in healthy and joyful sports. The Asia Bike Expo has been organizing children’s safe cycling events since 2014, and it continues to this day. Its primary goal is to instill safety awareness and the spirit of cycling in both children and their parents.

The 2017 Asia Bike Expo continues to collaborate with brands and training institutions to create a series of fun children’s cycling activities spanning nearly 2,000 square meters over three days at the expo site — featuring events that emphasize little competitive spirits: the 4th Asia Bike Children’s Safety Cycling Challenge; those focusing on fun experiences like the Asia Bike & Jinhongxiang Industry & PUKY Kids' Training Camp, and Upland Park Kids’ Edition; as well as those combining experience and competition such as the 2017 German PUKY Ride Festival · Nanjing Station and the POWERKIDS “Run, Ride, Run” Experience Race. With exciting activities all around, everything is designed for safe and joyful cycling!

Demo Days (Experience Days)(Time: September 14-16, Location: 9A Registration Hall)

This year’s Demo Days at the Asia Bike Expo will run concurrently with the main expo for three full days, aiming to keep the excitement going throughout the exhibition period. In addition to the traditional mountain bikes and road bikes, new models will also be joining this year, including the latest offerings from ofo — any more expectations?

Additionally, it’s worth mentioning that this year’s Demo Days introduce two popular new formats from the industry — the [Cyclo-Cross Off-Road Cycling Experience], where you can experience the unique terrain of cyclo-cross races and even try out top-tier cyclo-cross bikes from around the world; and the [PUMP Dual PK Competition], where Beijing Benliu Extreme will bring a “modular wave track” PUMP TRACK venue, fulfilling the wishes of PUMP enthusiasts to challenge the most thrilling terrains indoors — right at the Demo Days site!
