The Sky Tree’s dazzling lights attract attention—a new family-friendly attraction featuring a high-altitude slide

A recent addition to Qian Gang Park in Taipei’s Shilin District combines a giant tree landscape with a towering slide, creating the Sky Tree playground. It’s not only a great place for kids to play in an inclusive park during the day but also turns into a beautiful photo spot when illuminated at night.

Qian Gang Park is one of the few parks in Shilin District with dozens of trees over 80 cm in diameter and trees over ten meters tall. With its natural shading, the fully inclusive playground allows children to embrace their sense of adventure by climbing and challenging slides at three different heights, experiencing the thrill of high-altitude sliding.

The slides in the park vary in height, including a 3.5-meter spiral slide. By using a climbing cage or an accessible ramp, visitors can also take on the taller 4.5-meter tubular slide. There are also flat and sloped hanging ladders, and for the first time, a high-altitude slide has been designed so that children with disabilities can also access the 4.5-meter slide and experience the excitement of sliding from a height.
