The park has also been buzzing with talk about its super-popular selfie wall, a massive 6-meter-wide and 2.5-meter-high display featuring 68 pickup lines paired with spring-themed illustrations that spread humor and joy. It’s quickly become a must-visit destination in 2020.

The theme of this Salt Mountain campaign draws from the 2020 homophone “love you, love you,” symbolizing love and making it the perfect year to step into a new life chapter. Qigu Salt Mountain combines romance and flirtation trends to create a dreamy seaside amusement park that encourages couples and families to boldly express affection and build sweet memories together.

Young visitors taking photos at the Flirtation Wall said their favorite line was, “When I see you, I have to take a ticket—I’m speeding because my heart is racing.” They want to learn it to confess their feelings to someone they like and finally find love. Plus, the wall is so beautiful, any photo taken there will make you an internet star. In addition, Qigu Salt Mountain is selling popular online items like Taiwan Salt brine coffee, salty popsicles, and collagen snowflake salt soft serve—all adding to the sweet and lucky atmosphere.
Couples who enjoy an educational trip shouldn’t miss Taiwan’s only salt and water production sightseeing factory—the “Taiwan Salt Tongxiao Sightseeing Area” in Miaoli. It features the free “Salt Story Museum” mini museum and paid guided tours of the salt and packaged water factories, where visitors can learn about the science, history, and applications of salt.
