Located on the western coast of Taichung, right next to the Taiwan Strait, Wujhih is also home to the Port of Taichung. MITSUI OUTLET PARK Taichung Port is designed around the concept of “ENJOY THE VOYAGE OF STYLE,” featuring numerous designs inspired by common harbor elements such as containers and docks. Covering an area of about 800 pyeong, Dazhuang Haotian Temple boasts a solemn, majestic, elegant, and classic appearance, with many calligraphy works by modern celebrities and literati carved into its stone walls. The temple holds large-scale events during important festivals such as Chinese New Year, Farmers' Day, Ghost Festival, and Mid-Autumn Festival, inviting the public to join in the celebrations.

Wujhih Old Street originally developed along Dingsheng Street, where the only remaining Qing Dynasty-era buildings on this street can still be found. Other contemporary structures were destroyed in the major earthquake of 1936. The current architecture on the street showcases a Baroque style, with the Chaoyuan Police Station and Chaoyuan Temple being the most representative. The street is home to many temples, among which Zhenwu Temple and Chaoyuan Temple are the most notable. The scenes and artifacts within the temples offer a glimpse into the diligence and sincere spiritual devotion of the early settlers who built them.
