Taipei Botanical Garden features different varieties of flowers throughout the seasons. Recently, a vast expanse of Zephyranthes candida and Zephyranthes tubispatha are in full bloom, creating a breathtaking floral display.

The flowering period of Zephyranthes candida and Zephyranthes tubispatha mainly falls between summer and autumn. They bloom abundantly after rainfall following a long dry spell, hence they are also called “storm lilies.” In Western countries, they are known as Rain Lilies, meaning “rain lilies.” With Taipei experiencing frequent rain these days, it’s the perfect time for these rain lilies to bloom.

These flowers come in white, yellow, and pink, with about 80% currently in bloom—making it the best time to view them.
These flowers, appearing in white, yellow, and pink, are currently in bloom around the park—at the base of Alexander palm trees, beside the rose garden beds, and near the Western-style garden. About 80% are in bloom, marking the prime viewing period.
