From August 27 to 28, most areas in Taiwan, including Penghu, Kinmen, and Matsu, will be mostly cloudy to sunny, with hot and high temperatures. The Taipei Basin, New Taipei City, Keelung City, and Taoyuan City are under a yellow alert (temperatures above 36°C). Only the southeastern region and Hengchun Peninsula will see scattered brief showers. Due to the influence of the typhoon’s peripheral circulation, average wind speeds in the northern and southeastern seas of Taiwan may reach Force 6.

Starting Thursday, the weather will change. From Thursday to Saturday (August 29 to 31), as a tropical depression or the peripheral cloud band of the typhoon approaches and affects the area, moisture will increase. Localized brief showers are expected in the eastern, southeastern regions, and Hengchun Peninsula, with more moisture on the 30th and 31st, bringing localized brief showers to the northeastern and southern regions as well. Other areas will generally be mostly cloudy, with localized brief thunderstorms in the afternoon. High temperatures will also be slightly lower compared to previous days.
