This year marks the 30th anniversary of the animated film “The Little Mermaid,” and Disney has launched numerous celebratory events and merchandise. In Taichung, there is a limited-time Disney Princess Exhibition, themed around a summer-inspired Little Mermaid, while in Japan, preparations are underway to launch a Little Mermaid-themed café, bringing delightful surprises to fans across the globe.

The same venue will host a Toy Story Themed Restaurant, where every dish incorporates elements from the beloved movie — a must-visit for fans and enthusiasts.

The Little Mermaid Themed Café is set to make its dreamy debut in four major Japanese cities: Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, and Sapporo. The four cafés will begin operations sequentially starting from September 21st, operating as a limited-time pop-up for one and a half months. Opening and closing dates vary slightly, but fans planning to visit Japan later this year absolutely shouldn’t miss this underwater rendezvous with the mermaids.

Although the menu and merchandise for the Little Mermaid Themed Café have not yet been announced, the dishes will feature natural, wholesome ingredients presented in a healthy style, infused with an abundance of Little Mermaid elements. These include Ariel, Flounder, Sebastian, and Ariel’s six sisters, all ready to captivate the hearts of girls and women of all ages.
