No need to go all the way to Hualien for golden needle flower fields—Taiwan's most beautiful valley in Central Taiwan is covered with different kinds of beautiful flowers throughout the seasons. Right now, in late summer, golden needle flowers are in full bloom. Quickly plan a weekend trip to Taichung to admire the blossoms and snap some amazing photos.

Located in Taichung, Muxinquan Leisure Farm not only boasts a vast area of over 8 hectares, but its high altitude also offers views of Wine Barrel Mountain and the Dajia River, and at night you can gaze up at a sky full of stars and look down on Taichung’s neon-lit cityscape.

The farm is also planted with cherry blossoms, azaleas, wild lilies, lavender, maple trees, golden needle flowers, tung flowers, and more, allowing you to enjoy different flower seas in every season.

From May to September each year is the golden needle flower season at Muxinquan Farm. The lush green slopes are gradually dotted with bright yellow blooms, as if draped in a yellow blanket—absolutely gorgeous, and the flowering period can last until September.

The farm’s golden maple forest and snow-white oaks offer a breathtaking view of a sea of trees interwoven with gold and white in autumn and winter. The nighttime scenery is even more enchanting—you can look up to see a sky full of stars, truly breathtaking.
