After 12 years of growth, the 13th China Ski Industry Summit in 2018 is leveling up once again. The “China (Beijing) International Mountain Sports Industry Conference & 13th China Ski Industry Summit” breaks beyond the skiing industry boundary, featuring multiple professional forums alongside the International Mountain Exhibition. Leaders from the China Ski Association, China Mountaineering Association, and the French Mountain Development Strategy Agency, along with industry experts, will provide comprehensive insights into the current state and future development of both winter and summer mountain sports industries in China and abroad. Over 10 specialized forums — including the China Ski Industry 30 Forum, Mountain Industry Empowerment Forum, Sports Towns Forum, Four-Season Operations Forum, Camp Education Forum, and Ice & Snow in Schools Forum — will explore and address numerous pain points and challenges facing the ice and snow industry.
It’s no longer just a seasonal thing!
How can ski resorts, forest parks, and scenic areas thrive in both winter and summer? To solve the issue of seasonal operations at ski resorts and forest scenic spots, Bingxue Weiye has partnered with well-known resorts (resort areas) such as Wanlong, Songhua Lake, Beidahu, GuaiPo, Silk Road, Yuyang, Jizhou International, Meilin Valley, Qinhuang Ancient Road, Funiu Mountain, and Dawei Mountain to launch the China Ski Industry Four-Season Operations Cooperation Alliance. By integrating upstream and downstream resources, they aim to jointly tackle the challenges of operating year-round.

How can businesses evolve from being limited to “one season, one sport” into an all-season, all-capability investment and operation model? How can winter and summer mountain sports projects be given greater value? Experts from various fields will offer multi-perspective insights and spark thought-provoking discussions for resort owners.
