1.Lingxiu Villa
Located in Dakeng, Taichung, Lingxiu Villa is an abandoned villa complex that has been deserted for over 20 years. With 122 empty concrete houses spread across the hillside, it is now overgrown with weeds and known as “Taichung’s Ghost Town Dakeng Lingxiu.” The villas draped in vegetation exude an indescribable beauty, making it a pilgrimage spot for Instagram photographers.

2.Siluo Grand Theater
Siluo Grand Theater is a building that has witnessed both prosperity and decline. Built in the 1940s, it has seen the changes of the times and offers a unique charm inside and out. The theater's façade features a pediment with ventilators and louvered wooden windows. The Baroque-style stucco trim on the pediment, along with ornamental patterns and textured tiles, showcases Neo-Romantic elements. Its story of faded glory adds to its appeal, though visitors should be cautious due to the dilapidated structure.

3. Argonaut Shipyard
Located next to Heping Bridge on Heping Island, the Argonaut Shipyard is a century-old historical site in Keelung. Exposed cement pillars, irregular steel bars, and weathered walls give this place a sense of desolation and artistic ambiance. It’s not only a popular check-in spot but was also used as a filming location for Chris Evans’ commercial shoot in Taiwan.

4.Qianguo Building
Located on Luchuan West St. in central Taichung, the Qianguo Building in the Green River area was once a landmark of the district. It has been vacant for over a decade after a fire and has been dubbed one of Taiwan’s top ten haunted houses online. In 2017, Taichung’s street art group “Escape Plan” moved in and set up studios, covering the derelict structure inside and out with vibrant street art. This creative transformation has attracted many young trendsetters and photographers.
